We Make Home Studies Easy
We invite you to review the rest of this website which provides full description of our home study process, requirements and expenditures to complete the adoption home study. During our home study visit with you, we will also take time to educate you about the adoption process which everyone has said that they found extremely helpful. Our intention is to provide the most professional and compassionate service possible.

While on the phone, we will schedule a date for your home study.
We will send you a list of all the documentation that is required to be submitted before the date of the home study.
Quickest Home Study Process
We make every effort to try to make the home study process an enjoyable experience rather than a stressful ordeal so that you can focus on the joy of adopting your child. During our home study visit with you, we will be glad to discuss adoption options and our adoption & custody home studies are generally accepted by all agencies. We take the time to educate you about the whole adoption process which families have said that they found extremely helpful.
One of the Lowest Priced
Hope for Families has some of the lowest and most reasonably priced, licensed child placing agency produced, adoption home study in Florida. Our normal fee is $1,300 for our domestic adoption home study and $1,500 for a custody assessment plus a $1.00 per mile travel cost.
Please note: this is far below most agencies’ price of $1,800 or more.
As a special blessing, Lynn and I have decided to help reduce the cost of adoptions by giving 50 free miles on the total round trip for adoptions (and only $1.00 for every mile after that).
Domestic Adoption
We have extensive experience in completing home studies for domestic adoptions in the USA. Hope for Families is listed as adoption professionals in Florida on Adoption.com, Daniel’s Group and the state wide Florida Adoption Register.
NOTE: We are only able to perform home studies within Florida.
Custody Dispute
& Court Orders
Not only do we conduct home studies for adoptions but custody disputes and court orders as well. We have served all across the state of Florida providing home studies for families trying to obtain custody of their children.
Florida Not For Profit
Hope For Families Adoption and Counseling Servies Inc. is a Florida Not For Profit corporation. We have been licensed in Florida as a child placing, adoption agency (100014460) since 2003. Hope for Families has maintained its rating as an “A-Plus” member of the Better Business Bureau.
Double Licensed
We have a double license to prepare a home study for you as Hope For Families is a licensed adoption agency and Dr. Brown is a licensed clinical Marriage and Family Therapist who is credentialed for home studies. Therefore you can use our home study for any domestic adoptions situation throughout the USA. Many states require the home study provider to also have an agency license rather than just being a social worker and we have this valuable double licensure.
No International Adoption
In July 2014, the new Unified Adoption Act regulation was instituted by the US Immigration which restricts non Hague adoption agencies from completing any type of international work. We are sincerely sorry Hope For Families is unable to help you pursue an international adoption.
